Our Mission

Providing Possibilities Foundation (PPF) is non-profit 501(c)3 organization which seeks to encourage children to become active participants in improving their world. Children bring with them tremendous amounts of spirit, creativity, and friendship.  PPF seeks to guide these unique skills and teach children that their positive influence can change the world.  By involving children in projects that directly improve the lives of less fortunate children, our children learn that even at a young age they can make a difference.  In this way, Providing Possibilities Foundation raises the social consciousness of our youth while helping other worthy causes.

How Providing Possibilities' Kids are making a difference…

PPF Programs: PPF holds fun and charitable workshops, fundraisers and events where kids can use their creativity to help other kids.  Our upcoming event in July 2008 will feature the following:

Providing Possibilities Raffle:  THANK YOU volunteers for all of your hard work!!

Providing Possibilities Volunteers helped fundraise for the construction of a Home for homeless children.  Volunteers raffled off $10 raffle tickets for a chance to win a new iPhone!  100% of these donations will go towards building a home for needy children.  One of the Homes in need is the Helping Hearts Home in Chennai (www.helpingheartshome.org).

Creating Cards and Tapestry:  PPF Kids create beautiful friendship cards for orphans in India and Indonesia as a symbol of their friendship and support.

In July 2007, PPF kids created hundreds of these cards and since then have received cards back from their new friends.  These wonderful cards brought joy to the kids of Aarti Home (India) and the Give Light Foundation (Aceh), and now other charities would like to be included in this exchange of friendship. 

In July 2008, PPF held its third Children for Children's event where kids continued their exchange of friendship by creating more cards. In addition,  they created a wall tapestry, for the Helping Hearts Home in Chennai , India and the Cancer Center Hospital in Pune, India. To view pictures from this event, please click here.

Past Events

Adopt-A-Family Raffle!!!   

Dec 2007  Providing Possibilities teamed up with Santa Clara County Department of Family and Children's Services to raise money for their annual Adopt-a-Family Program. PPF  kids raised money by conducting a raffle where $5 raffle tickets were sold for an opportunity to win either an ipod shuffle or a digital camera! The kids did a TREMENDOUS job!!!!!  They put in their time and energy and raised over $1500,  making a difference in the lives of many families and children!!!  100% of these funds went towards buying groceries for these less fortunate families.

The Winning raffle ticket numbers were 1008 and 1336.

PPF gives its heart felt thanks to the children for sharing their generosity and spirit. We had lots of fun during this holiday season while helping families in need.
