Our Mission

Providing Possibilities Foundation (PPF) is non-profit 501(c)3 organization which seeks to encourage children to become active participants in improving their world. Children bring with them tremendous amounts of spirit, creativity, and friendship.  PPF seeks to guide these unique skills and teach children that their positive influence can change the world.  By involving children in projects that directly improve the lives of less fortunate children, our children learn that even at a young age they can make a difference.  In this way, Providing Possibilities Foundation raises the social consciousness of our youth while helping other worthy causes.

How Providing Possibilities' Kids are making a difference…

PPF Programs: PPF holds fun and charitable workshops, fundraisers and events where kids can use their creativity to help other kids. Our programs include Raffle Fundraisers, Creating Friendship Cards and One World PenPals 

Walnut Grove Elementary School and Providing Possibilities Foundation held a “Kids For Kids” event that included making Friendship Cards and holding a raffle that would help support the needy children of Aarti Home Orphanage in India. 

Friendship Cards: The kids made such touching and beautiful friendship cards for the children of Aarti Home.  They were so willing to extend their friendship and support, as if they understood the tremendous impact they were making.  It was very touching.  They truly have made a difference in the lives of less fortunate kids by simply reaching out to them.  The children of the Home were so excited that these cards have been mailed to them! They simply couldn’t wait to respond and are already making Christmas cards to send back.  This exchange is now something they look forward to and gives them hope.  Walnut Grove kids should receive their next set of cards by the time they get back from Christmas break. Our next project will be to make friendship bracelets!

Raffle:  The kids raised $1350 for the children of Aarti Home. 100% of all the money raised will go towards providing food, shelter, clothing and education to needy children.

          A heart felt thanks to all the children and parents who gave their time and heart to help someone unknown so far away.  During this busy season, it is wonderful to see such generosity of spirit. Happy Holidays!!!

Providing Possibilities Raffle, September 2009 Update:  THANK YOU volunteers for all of your hard work!!

Helping Hearts Home   in Chennai, India sends a hearty THANK YOU to all you kids who participated in the iPhone raffle.  100% of the money you raised was sent to the Home and used to help with construction of the Home.  The Board Members of Helping Hearts Home wanted to send you this message:

“The great support offered by you allowed us to complete the construction at Marai Malai Nagar (the Home), where three bathrooms and toilets have been constructed at the first floor, which is very much helpful to the children and Elders of the home. The contribution also allowed for the extension of the dining hall that was very narrow and previously not used.  You have helped improve the quality of life and hygiene of the children and elders.  All the members of this Home are very much thankful and grateful to you for the care and support shown towards our home.”

Your efforts have made a huge difference in the lives of needy children and elders.  You can make a difference and improve your world, and you all did.  I hope you all continue to look for ways to continue to do so!

Creating Cards and Tapestry September, 2009 Update:  PPF Kids create beautiful friendship cards for orphans in India and Indonesia as a symbol of their friendship and support.  Hundreds of these cards were exchanged between these new friends, bringing joy to the kids of Aarti Home (India) and the Give Light Foundation (Aceh) and Helping Hearts Home (India).
